Salvation

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS IN LIFE THAT WE DESIRE, WANT, NEED AND INTEND TO ACCOMPLISH. THESE IN ITSELF ARE NO WRONG NEITHER ARE THEY SELFISH, BUT THEY ARE ONLY A MEANS TO AN END. THE END THEREFORE IS  NOT JUST TO BE FULFILLED, BUT HAVE PEACE AND ABOVE ALL JOY.

WHILE GOING THROUGH LIFE, THERE ARE QUESTIONS THAT ARE RELEVANT TO OUR LIVING THE LIFE WE DESIRE AND WANT. NECESSARY CONVERSATION HAVE TO BE DISCUSSED AND  DECISIONS HAVE TO BE MADE TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.

ONE THING WE ARE QUITE CONFIDENT ABOUT IS THAT WE CANNOT LIVE OUR LIVES WITHOUT PUTTING GOD AT THE CENTER OR RATHER THE SCALE THAT BALANCES EVERYTHING  ELSE.

FOR GOD TO BE THE PILLAR OF OUR EXISTENCE, WE HAVE TO INVITE INTO OUR COMFORT, SPHERE AND CIRCLE. BY  INITING HIM, WE RECEIVE SALVATION.

THESE ARE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU EMBARK INTO THE ROAD OF SALVATION

WHO AM I

 -WHERE AM I FROM

 -WHAT IS MY PURPOSE

-WHY AM I HERE

 -WHERE AM I GOING TO

I need you to know that God has provided a way out for everyman through Salvation

What is salvation?

Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance, such as Paul’s deliverance from prison (Philippians 1:19).

What are we saved from?

In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin (Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9). Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin.

Who does the saving?

Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sin’s penalty (2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5).

How does God save?

In the Christian doctrine of salvation, God has rescued us through Christ (John 3:17). Specifically, it was Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved our salvation (Romans 5:10; Ephesians 1:7). Scripture is clear that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God (Ephesians 2:5, 8) and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12)

 How do we receive salvation?

We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe—fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).

 At this moment you can pray the most important prayer of your life by simply saying;

Dear lord Jesus,

I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You came to earth 2,000 years ago. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my days. From this moment on, I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again.
Amen!
